The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the events of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them little choice but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to form the Explorers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
